Tin Star Taco Bar

Tin Star Taco Bar was an innovative taco concept founded in Dallas in 1999, at one point having 13 locations across the region and in multiple states. After a downturn, the brand was purchased out of bankruptcy in 2014. The new owners contacted us about rebranding the concept and moving in a new direction. We were tasked with visualizing an entirely new version of the brand, one that focused on its roots while shifting gears towards chef-crafted tacos, growth in alcohol sales and a casual, seated dining environment. Unfortunately, this vision never came to fruition and the company slowly shuttered all remaining locations.

We developed a series of slogan and taglines to emphasize the Texas theme. These were intended to be used on t-shirts, screenprinted to butcher paper table coverings, and used throughout the space.
